Independent research built by an investor and operator

Grish Ram is a private investor and operator focused on AI infrastructure, macroeconomic regimes and geopolitical risk. He created M3I Research to combine fundamental research with transparent quantitative models and publicly audited forecasts. His background spans healthcare operations and leadership, corporate finance, and building quantitative research tools.

What M3I Research is

M3I is built on one idea: AI infrastructure investing through a macro-risk lens. The research examines how capital spending is evolving across the AI infrastructure stack — memory, custom silicon, networking, data-centre power — and, just as deliberately, the evidence that would challenge the thesis.

How the research process works

The models are decision-support tools used to test and challenge the research. They are not standalone trading signals.

Why the misses stay public

Forecasting is probabilistic. A record that only shows wins is marketing; a record that keeps its misses — and logs its methodology revisions with dates — is research. The scorecard keeps both.
